Meditation is being eternally present but we keep being identified with the mind and body. It is ironical that, in reality, we are not the one who can be seen, touched, heard or smelled but an awareness that is invisible and intangible. Meditation is the fast track to this our authentic reality.
Because most modern human beings are just not able to sit silently in the present moment, the enlightened mystic Osho has devised numerous meditations to help quieten the mind and release suppressed emotions held in the body.
The Mystic Rose is a three-week process, lasting three hours per day. During the first week, participants laugh “for no reason at all,” dissolving the blocks to their inner spontaneity and joy. The second week is devoted to crying, and the third week to silent watching and meditation. Osho says about it:
Osho first introduced the No-Mind meditation as part of his evening discourses on Zen. Later on, it became a group process, lasting for seven days. Here is an excerpt from the talk where Osho first introduced the meditation: The first part is gibberish. The word ‘gibberish’ comes from a Sufi mystic, Jabbar. Jabbar never spoke any language, he just uttered nonsense. Still he had thousands of disciples because what he was saying was, “Your mind is nothing but gibberish. Put it aside and you will have a taste of your own being.”
Born Again is a process that takes place for two hours a day, over seven days. For the first hour, participants take the space and freedom to behave as children. For the second hour, they sit silently, doing nothing.

Vipassana meditation is a form of mindfulness meditation that comes from the original teachings of the Buddha. It is a way of observing oneself without judgment, and it is said to be helpful in achieving enlightenment. Usually, it’s done over the course of 10 days. Here’s what you need to know.
Zazen is a traditional Zen meditation which involves long hours of silent sitting and slow walking. As the mind slows down and becomes quieter and quieter, each thought can be watched with awareness and the gaps between the thoughts become longer and longer.
